XV Beacon Charitable Efforts….
Here at XV Beacon, we take great pride in supporting our non-profits organizations that are local as well as across the country. We are incredibly proud to share that during the past year we have been an important source of financial and social support to many charitable events nationwide.
As we strive to care and do the best for our guests, employees, and the community, it is our responsibility to make sure all donations were counted and provided to the people and community that were in need of our tremendous support. By ranking, we had mainly donated to human services; health care; education; animal welfare; art, culture & humanities; and community improvement causes.
Within the past year, there were 92 luxury accommodations donated which were equated to $60,000 in value.
Partnering with Amazing Brands: Everybody Water® & Clean the World
Since our beginning, with the help of partners like XV Beacon, Everybody Water® has designated funds that have helped to provide ~1,400 people running water, a sink, a shower, and a toilet directly into their homes for the first time in their lives.
when women & girls are freed from thousands of hours required to collect water, they have time to go to school, earn incomes, and unlock potential. 24/7 access to safe water and sanitation prevents disease and improves quality of life for the entire community.
XV Beacon has a longstanding partnership with Clean the World soap program, where we donate all of our unused bath amenity products on a quarterly basis. To date, we have donated 15,898 bars of soap, which equates to 2,034 total pounds of donated soap. In addition, we have recycled 1,005 pounds of collected plastic, and saved over 6,774 gallon of water from going to waste. With these efforts, we have served 1,915 people through this cause.
In addition, we are Boston’s most pet-friendly hotel and find it important to give back to the four pawed community on a monthly basis. 50% of the proceeds from our pet fee have been distributed to a variety of charities, amounting to $1,700 in total revenue year to date. Some of the charities we have donated to:
- Animal Rescue League of Boston
- ASPCA
- Human Society of the United States
- World Wildlife fund
- Best Friends Animal Society
…just to name a few
Lastly, XV Beacon donated a total of 40 pounds of linen sheets and towels to the Animal Rescue League and strive to keep up this tradition that we started last year.
Contributing to the non-profits organizations makes us feel united and proud and we promise to always continue to support and take care of the communities and people who seek help!
