XV Beacon: Boston's Best A Sketch of XV Beacon Hotel

Perfectly situated in a historic Beacon Hill neighborhood, our 63-room luxury Boston boutique hotel reflects how the past lives in the present. XV Beacon Hotel’s modern, handsome appointments are housed in a turn-of-the-century landmark Beaux-Arts building complete with a grand marble staircase, mahogany paneling, and original caged-glass elevator. Under the double vaulted ceiling on the lower level, near the building’s original 1722 granite foundation, rests one of the most extensive and award-winning wine collections in the country. And when it comes to personal service, XV Beacon Hotel is without equal.

Our Art Collection

“Without art, the crudeness of reality would make the world unbearable.” George Bernard Shaw knew a thing or two about the power of art. Not only is our 1903 building a work of art, designed by renowned Boston architect Williams Gibbons Preston, but XV Beacon Hotel also distinguishes itself with an extensive art collection of its own. Enjoy a fourth-century Roman mosaic, works by eighteenth-century portraitist Gilbert Stuart, a joyful twentieth-century Jules Olitski, and so much more.
