As XV Beacon toasts to its 20th anniversary and reminisces on its rich history, visitors and locals alike are invited to celebrate in style throughout the holiday season. Having opened its doors on New Year’s Eve 2009, the celebrated, modernist hotel housed in a historic Beaux Arts building atop Beacon Hill has become the city’s most desirable address. Today, guests can enjoy 63 beautifully appointed guestrooms and seasonal offerings from special turndown amenities to complimentary room upgrades, while experiencing the most magical events and attractions throughout Boston when staying at our historic hotel.

Situated in the heart of the city’s national historic landmark district, XV Beacon occupies the site of the Bromfield Mansion, a home built by Boston merchant Edward Bromfield in 1722. The present building – which boasts a cast iron façade, gilded shields and a limestone band and five stories of Roman brick – was originally built in 1903 and designed by renowned Boston architect William Gibbons. Prior tenants of the historic building included the Boston Transit Commission, the Rapid Transit Commission and the Boston School Committee, before 1999 when it became XV Beacon.

Today, Boston is brimming with events throughout the holidays – which kick off during Thanksgiving – making it the perfect destination to get into the festive spirit.
