The air is crisp, the colors are changing, and some say Boston is its most beautiful during the fall season. If you’re traveling to Boston this fall, don’t forget to book our Fall in Fifteen package. To help with your Boston travel itinerary, we’ve listed a few of the fun fall activities happening in and around Boston:
Boston’s Columbus Day Parade. This parade – which takes place in Boston’s North End – honors Christopher Columbus and his explorations of the Americas, as well as the city’s Italian heritage. This year, the parade takes place on Sunday, October 8, around 1pm and will last until approximately 3pm. While you’re in the North End, stop by some of the Italian cafes for a cappuccino and cannoli!
Go to the theater. Some new shows are coming to Boston this fall, including:
Jersey Boys – Boston Opera House – October 4 – 16
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder – Shubert Theatre – October 18 – 23
An American in Paris – Wang Center – October 25 – November 6

Enjoy an art walk. The Fort Point Artists Gallery at 300 Congress Street allow all to peruse into the artist’s lofts, chart with the artist and buy a piece of art to take home with you. The gallery consists of more than 150 open studios, and on some days there are outdoor performances, and art-making activities.
Get spooked on Beacon Hill. Just a few steps from the front doors of XV Beacon is the start of one of the city’s most talked about tours. This 90-minute ghost and graveyard tour kicks off at 6 p.m. on October 31. You’ll hear stories of murders and mayhem during this 90-minute walking tour. Costumes are welcome, but walking shoes are a must!
